Xenon’s theory seems to be the most plausible at this point but i agree with nigcrunch on the fact that things need to be cleared a bit here. I would want to see someone post a reply here saying that they got off of waitlist or got a different email on June 6th than the ones mentioned.

It seems weird they’d just drag this out. Shouldn’t they know by now how many students they need?

Yeah, they should know. July 15th is so deep into the summer I almost don’t want to wait for it. But I’ve waited this long, what’s 1 more month.

I doubt there’s any financial aid yet… And I wonder why they need to keep students waitlisted for so long.

this is the latest ive seen replys from the waitlist last year was early may as in the more previous years which where late may to early june

I’ve never heard of a school going into July to release waitlist notices. Just seems really weird.

My friend got off the wailist Freshman year, but they told her before May 1st. So we’re both stumped on what the hold-up is for the class of 2014.

Did you receive neither? I asked my sister and she didn’t get either. Only the one that says to wait until June 15th.

I got one that says they won’t be able to tell me until July 15th. Somebody else reported that they got rejected cause all the spots are filled up. I wanted to know if someone maybe got a different email or did not get one of these two.

Oh no, I checked. She did get the one that said to wait until July. She just overlooked it. I’m worried they’ll just flat out reject everyone on the waitlist. =/

I’m worried about that too, but the fact that somebody already got rejected makes me think otherwise.

any news?..

Wow, can’t believe BU is really waiting til July 15th. For those of you who really want to attend, write a letter of interest. It separates you from the rest of the students who may not even care and are finished.

where should waitlestees forward this letter of interest?

send it to admissions

my friend isnt in the us so she has to send it digitally to which email should she send it?

admissions@bu.edu is probably a good bet. i didn’t know they had more than one email address

i thought they didnt read or answer emails forwarded to that account

who said that? if you’re concerned, you may want to fax it, which is what i did last year when i was wait listed. i dont have the number so you’ll have to do some digging

I’ve e-mailed that address before and gotten replies.
