Good luck to you all.

I got deniedddd. oh well. good luck to the rest of you. it said all the spots were filled so hopefully some of the waitlistees got in.

EDIT: I got the email at 4:21 eastern just fyi.

Oh my sister got rejected too.

=/ i cant believe they made you wait all that time. sometimes i hate bu

This is the same thing Columbia did to me when I applied.

I got denied also. Got the email today saying that all the spots were “filled.”
oh well…i’m fine with going to my #2 school. don’t get too depressed if you don’t get in, we are all meant to go to the school where we end up at. they choose you for a reason. This was my safety school though and I thought for sure I was in (all my stats were well above the average) but looks like it’s their loss. I just think that it was really messed up for BU to make me wait this long to reject me. Just tell me ahead of time so I don’t have to live in wonder. Good luck to everyone else.

The reason schools do this is to see what (if any) room will open up for the incoming class. Many schools can accept their waitlist students right away because they still have room to fill. There are many factors as to why a school would want to put off notifying their waitlisted students til a later date.
