LOL I did not apply to Columbia. But good luck anyways I’m sure that you can get in as a transfer after a year if you’re not happy with the place that you initially go to.

Another waitlistee here!! Oh man, im so excited that they didnt just REJECT me, but now i want to get in soooo badly… Haha i guess i better come up with the most spectacular letter ever or something, im trying not to think about last year’s 0% :p

Any news? Like, how many people on the wait list? Are they planning to take people off the wait list this year?

They said that they are planning to take off people. But what else could they say? If they didnt plan this, they wouldn’t have a waitlist…

Waitlisted SEAS, accepted my spot. I’m also waitlisted at Princeton.

What school are you all on the waitlist for? I’m CC.

CC here too.

Waitlisted at SEAS here. Also waitlisted at Rice and CMU. Does anyone have the waitlist statistics for the class of 2013?

^No one was admitted off the waitlist in the class of 2013. Every year is different, however, so don’t lose hope!

Any news on the wait list?

I’m on the waitlist for CC - signed up reluctantly…got accepted @ U of Penn but as a native New Yorker, I’m very much on the fence :-/

I think you should go to Penn. Penn is a great school, so you shouldn’t be at all depressed.

I was wait-listed. To bothhh. Hahaha is it usually easier to get off the waitlist at SEAS or CC?

Any news on the waitlist?

Hi, got waitlisted to CC, applied w/ Physics as 1st choice… very narrow very competetive – i just need to hope that of the 20ish physics geniuses they accepted enough also got into HYP and may take those over CC.

I also have a classmate who’s on the waitlist for Archi.

Columbia doesn’t accept people according to their major right? I thought there was just one waitlist and it doesn’t matter what you might want to major in?
