Waitlisters: "Incoming Undergraduate Validation Form"

Does everyone on the waitlist have a link for “Incoming Undergraduate Validation Form” on Agora? This just appeared on my Daughter’s Financial Aid status page the other day as “required from the student”. It was never there before and is for incoming freshman only (even though I can’t click on it yet). Does it mean anything?

Over in the transfer forum we were having a similar discussion about the very same form. A couple people got it and posted to see what the deal was...only a few people responded by everyone who did respond did have it on their FA status page...so it looks like it doesn't mean much.

That's what people said when my daughter was accepted RD to Villanova. The very same thing happened but we discovered that people who didn't have the link in Financial aid seemed to not get in and those who did did get in. Who knows? My d is happy going to her first choice school so it doesn't really matter- I was just curious.

I'm on the wait list and I, too, have the form listed on my Agora.

Is there anyone wait listed / rejected / accepted also have the form on Agora?

waitlisted. i have it on my fa page, i'm 99% sure it's not a sign of anything. keeping my hopes low.

still being optimistic...

w007- My son is going to BC and he has the same message, they just activated the BC email for students, so several things are changing on the website. I keep hoping to go onto the financial aid award page and actually see some financial aid there. Keep positive for those on the waitlist and good luck to you!

Dear God,
Please let me get into BC.

A blessing in disguise.

I don't know. It seems weird that a link for incoming freshman would be sent to everyone on the waiting list. Oh well- good luck to all. I think they do take a good number off their list from what I read on another thread- so there is still hope!

I do think that BC takes a lot of kids from the waiting list. It sounds like they notify by mail within the next two weeks if not accepted and then beginning around May 30th or so they mail the letters for the accepted students. Some schools like Villanova say they will let you know by June 15th, at least I think BC will let you know by 1st week of June or so.

Mom43, how reliable is the above information?

Not reliable...it changes greatly every year- espically this year with the amount of applicants. The fact of the matter is nobody knows how much the waitlist will move- but a general guestimate is that less that 10% of the waitlist actually gets in.

BTW- One of my relatives got in off the waitlist and she got in mid June.

I heard that they will be going to the list, and will be offering a good amount of spots (definitely less then 10%). Supposedly, they will be starting in the next couple of days (ie. sometime next week). This coming from a reliable source.

How long is the wait list?

Incoming Undergraduate Validation Form [Info]

Is this supposed to be a link on Agora or just text written in black letters with the [Info] part being blue and turning into a typing cursor when hovering over it?

I guess the question is, does anyone who applied for financial aid NOT have this form listed?

I believe the list is nearly 2500 people long. Could be a couple hundred less

How reliable is the above information?
