Waitlisting an R1B class?

<p>As of tonight, the History of Art R1B class I want to take has 5 people on the wait-list for a 17 person class. There's also a class a couple hours before that that has 8 spots open. I'd prefer the former option because it leaves a smaller gap in my schedule, and I get to wake up later. </p>

<p>What is the safer option in this case? Wait-list the class I want? Or enroll in the class with open seats but a little less desireable?</p>

<p>You have almost ZERO chance of getting into the class if there are 5 people ahead of you for the waitlist for an R&C class. I would either sign up for the early class, or more likely sign up for other classes that needed to be signed up for.</p>
