<p>alright my schedule stinks…haha so i’m hoping i can get the classes i want by waitlisting during pass 2. my question is: can i waitlist for a class that will clash times with the classes i currently already have? because if i get into that class through waitlist, i can drop the class i currently have and replace it with the one i got into. or do i have to drop the class i have now and then waitlist for another class in order to get into it? sounds risky doesn’t it?</p>
<p>you have to drop the class if you are going to waitlist during pass 2 because you can only have 18 units. I wouldn't be too concerned about NOT getting into the waitlist class. I do not know anyone who did not get into a class they were waitlisted in.</p>

<p>no they do not open up new classes, people drop classes. ESPECIALLY during open registration which occurs during the first couple of weeks of the quarter.</p>

<p>I do believe that time conflicts are not an issue so long as you drop the class that you didn't want. If you don't drop that class, then you wont be put into the waitlisted class. But I'm not positive about this. My question is how do they monitor the pass 2 times, cause I have a bad time going sept 6, the second to last day.... so will i be in the back of the waitlist?</p>
<p>The class must fit into your schedule for you to waitlist. You will be able to access it from another country.</p>

<p>yarold you mean i can't waitlist twice for the same course? what if i'm in econ 1A and it's a night class, but i want to change it to a morning class? i can't waitlist for that class anymore at a different time?</p>

<p>no they do not open up new spots. people will drop classes. it is inevitable. just watch where you are on the waitlist and figure it out from there.</p>
<p>How come SISWEB wont let us see the amount of people on the waitlist anymore? I’ve been trying to get the best spot on a waitlist for Pass 2 and it seems like I just have to guess and hope that I’m on the shortest list…</p>
<p>Am I missing something, or did UCDavis remove that from SISWEB?</p>
