Waitlisting courses

Hey, I am in my second semester at Maryland so I have a probably basic question about the waitlisting process:

Testudo just shows me the open sections for my class, but instead I would like to see all sections and then add my name to the waitlist if the class has already filled up. How do I do that?

What am I overlooking here?

Thanks,
Marc

Try using this link to look up the classes you want (without logging in to your account)
[UM Testudo | Schedule Of Classes](http://www.sis.umd.edu/bin/soc?term=201301&crs=DEPT)

For the course, you can name a specific one like ENGL101 or just put department ENGL
Leave the section part blank
Do NOT check off the box next to show open sections only
Make sure term says spring 2013
Hit display

Cool, thanks!

How can I sign up for those filled up classes now? Do I have to send an email to that department or can I add myself via Testudo?

Here is a good tutorial on adding a waitlist course.

That’s a good tutorial.
