Waitlists in Prep Schools

Ok, I know that getting off of a waitlist is hard, but what are my chances of getting off a waitlist and get financial aid?
I’ve been waitlisted at seven different schools. My academics are pretty good, but I am applying for financial aid, which is why I was waitlisted.
Also, how many people are usually waitlisted per school?
