While I was registering, I gave priority to elective courses with limited space as it was suggested on the telebears tutorial. However, now I see that spaces are filling up very quickly and I doubt whether I will be able to take the course.</p>
<p>I checked on the previous few semesters, and I saw that this course had even free space, but now there is already waitlists on one section of the course. Any idea why this would happen? </p>
<p>Also, if you are on the waitlist right now, does it mean that you are likely to take the course?</p>
<p>Do departments expand the class quota afterwards?</p>
