The website says that if you get a 740 on an SAT II or 4/5 on AP u can waiver the foreign language requirement. does anyone know if it has to be Spanish WITH LISTENING that is only given in november, or can we just have the regular Spanish SAT II?

i believe it is all SAT II foreign languages, not matter listening or reading test

I concur.

The word is "waive," so the gerund form is "waiving."

that last comment just affirms that yes, this is the princeton board

Yes, a Tiger should never waver in dedication to careful writing.

who wants to waiver? I want to take a class! i was just on the phone w/ a french speaker and, while I know enough to get by, I can no longer rattle off French like I used to.

how sad....~le sigh :(

I don't think it's that big of a big deal in this case.... most of the time the language used is effective as long as it conveys a persons meaning, and we all understood what shrek meant.

It is kind of rude to correct people's grammer etc unless u know them well. Maybe English isn't even their first language....

Oh, I certainly didn't intend to slam Shrek--I enjoy Shrek's posts--but I did notice that this thread was about waiving a language requirement, so there is a wee tad of irony in the thread-opening post.

No hard feelings; good luck on the application.

haha =P i dont care if people correct me haha. i actually did think it was waivering tho....i dunno why haha

lol I get those kind of urges too, but I didn't even notice shrek's mistake! now it's bothering me though >.<

"how sad....~le sigh"

lolololol....for some reason that made me giggle for about 15 minutes...lol....I have no clue why.

maybe its your love of france, lol
