Wake Forest Acceptance Odds?

Hello, I visited Wake a few weeks back and absolutely loved it. The campus was incredible and I was just getting the “right vibe” from it if you will. Wondering what my chances are of getting into Wake and if possible, how much scholarship money/grants I could receive (can’t afford $60k a year). I’m going to be a junior.

Overall GPA: 4.15-4.2

Freshman year: Honors English I, Honors Biology, CP Geometry, CP World History, Latin I. Interact Club Member, 40+ service hours, volunteered as a CIT at a kids’ summer camp.
Played soccer, basketball and lacrosse. National Latin Exam “Cum Laude” award recipient. Freshman GPA of 4.05.

Sophomore year: AP US History, Honors English II, Honors Latin II, Honors Chemistry, CP Algebra II. Interact Club Member, 40+ service hours, worked as a Counselor at the same summer camp. Won a school jeopardy tournament which included the two front runners for valedictorian. National Latin Exam “Maxima Cum Laude” award recipient. Played Varisty lacrosse. Sophomore GPA of 4.25-4.3.

Junior Year: projected courses AP Government, AP Physics I, Honors English III, Honors Latin III, CP Pre-Calculus. Projected new SAT test score (based on PSAT and multiple practice tests): 1320-1360. Possible as high as 1400. Will be in Interact again, work as Counselor again, over 40+ hours community service, etc. Varsity lacrosse again. Will participate in Jeoprady tournament again and hopefully win. Also will be doing Model Congress.

I am a white male and was born in NC before I moved out of state (if that helps). Any insight helps. Thanks

  • What is your unweighted GPA?
  • Have you run the NPC to find out approximately how much it would cost you to attend?

-Not sure exactly what unweighted gpa is. I’ve gotten all a’s except for a few b+'s freshman year. Probably around a 3.8 or 3.9.
-No I haven’t. Where do I find it?
