<p>How difficult is it to get into Wake Forest? I realize it's a prestigious university. However it's acceptance rate is 40% which seems high for a top 30 school. Also, some student review websites say it's admission difficulty is said to be average. Any input?</p>

<p>You can enter your info and see the stats of other people who were accepted. I personally didn’t think admissions was that hard, but I’m sure it varies by person.</p>
<p>For being ranked so highly, it is relatively easy to get into, though WFU is getting more and more applications every year. Especially from outside the Southeast. </p>
<p>Also to note: WFU receives less apps than schools like Vandy because of its long application supplements and interview requirements (this could effect the # of applicants and thus the acceptance rate)</p>
<p>I agree with @Wneckid. I think WFU is a lot easier to get in to if you are from the Southeast/NC than from outside of the area, so it might also depend from where you are applying.</p>
<p>Wake Forest consists of 82% out-of-staters like 14% in-state and the rest international so being out-of-state is actually an advantage surprisingly.</p>
