Daughter got in 98 GPA 7 Ap classes 34 ACT. Don’t know a lot about Wake so hope we can go see it in person next month at least to walk around.

Do you know of any students who would be willing to tour an admitted student?
They usually have an admitted students day(s) in April. Last year, it was virtual unfortunately. Things at Wake are opening up. It would not surprise me if they invite students to campus. My daughter graduates in May,and it is in person 
.

We tried going on an unofficial tour, to include with an admitted student in Feb. Couldn’t do it. The campus was clamped down, so only those with IDs could be in the area. Hopefully things have changed. $65k/year is a lot to spend on somewhere you’ve seen on the internet.

I agree, but we only got to visit 2 of the schools we applied to. That’s just the way it is. I told D she will probably attend a school without ever having set foot on the campus.
My kids say that campus is back to normal, at least as normal at things can be these days. Covid cases are way down and many students have been vaccinated for a couple of weeks. Parents of students are allowed to visit campus now as well. I think that there will be some accommodation to allow admitted students to visit before May 1.
We did a second tour last Friday for admitted students. I imagine they may offer more. Keep in mind they aren’t allowing entrance into the buildings. Yesterday I emailed about coming up in late May to visit even if just being able to drive through the campus with the grandparents. Didn’t realize they would be releasing RD decisions so I imagine I may not hear back for a bit.

Additionally, my D was denied from Georgetown, Duke ED, UT Austin, and UNC Chapel Hill. Waitlisted at UVA and UMich (after being deferred from both) and waiting to hear back from Tulane (deferred) and Vanderbilt! Into Wake, UofSC, Clemson, JMU, URI and OSU

Does anyone know how Wale Forest handles WL? Are you a particular number or how do they decide who gets off and in what order!

Can waitlisted students sign up for a tour? We are in area next week & it would be nice to see the campus.
My D just got an email invite to sign up for an admitted student tour. They will be offering the tours every Monday, Friday and Saturday in April. We are in NC for another week so we signed up for a tour on Friday April 2. Very exciting. We just got back from a second tour of Elon.
Should be perfect timing with all the trees and flowers starting to bloom.
I havent gotten any emails. I payed my deposit but havent heard anything. i am kinda worried that im not receiving any of these emails…
