Congrats @doodle42107 ! I sent my app in a few days after you and it was completed on 9/17 so I’m hoping to receive an acceptance letter tomorrow! What do you attribute to your fast response time? I don’t think there’s a Facebook group yet but hopefully there will be soon!

@sunshine0312 Thanks! I’m not really sure actually. I thought maybe it was because all of my materials except my teacher recommendation were in for a good 3 weeks before everything completed, so they might have looked at some of my stuff. But that’s my only guess. I hope you hear good news soon too!
@fixermn1 I saw that one but it looked kind of weird (since nobody posted but the admin). I guess we’ll have to wait until there are more people in our class. Hopefully we’ll get more info soon. Did you get anything after you submitted your deposit?

@doodle42107 That makes sense! I had my interview way back in June and I think it went really well (interviewed with a woman named Hattie and we talked for almost an hour!) so hopefully that started my file on a positive note.
Would either one of you be willing to share some basic stats and/or take a look at mine and give your opinion? I’m very anxious to receive a letter because Wake is obviously my top choice!
@sunshine0312 That’s so funny, I actually interviewed with the same person around the same time. I thought mine went pretty well. I can give you my stats if you want but with a school like Wake stats aren’t really the most decisive factors for admissions. Although, if it makes you feel better, from what I understand the acceptance rate for ED is almost ridiculously high.
@doodle42107 Wow that is funny! What would you consider the most decisive factors for admissions at Wake? Do you mean essays and extra curriculars rather than GPA and test scores? That does make me feel a little better but they still don’t accept everyone so fingers crossed they accept me as well

My daughter is a current freshman and they did not start an official Facebook page until after the regular decisions were released.
@Barbie4 Thank you for that information. How long did it take for your daughter to receive her acceptance? I’m assuming she applied ED as well.
She applied last year the end of June and received her acceptance 6 weeks later. She is very happy and WFU is an incredible school. Best of luck to you!

I applied November 11th and received my confirmation letter on November 13th and then was accepted exactly two weeks later on November 27th! I am an out of state student and was very fortunate to hear back so quickly! Good luck to everyone else applying!

By mail, the letter was sent on Dec 8, and I got it on Dec 11. @gugujjj
I guess it depends on the applicant, mine took exactly 7 weeks to get to me.
Seven weeks from what – the date it was mailed, the date the site said your application was complete … ? Thanks.

Hey there! So I submitted my app 2 weeks before the ED deadline and I’ve yet to hear back. Their website says the “hear by” date is December 15…so yesterday. I called and one of the admissions reps told me I could hear as late as January, but my college counselor says we should be notified by the end of this week at the latest.
