Does anyone know how i will be notified of a response to wake forest? Like is it only a letter or email or something else?? Also how long will it take?
You’ll receive a letter from them in the mail. They say it takes 5-8 weeks, but I heard back in exactly 1 month from when I submitted my application. Good luck!!
did you apply on the common app? and did the “wake window” ever update with an admissions decision?
thank you!!
I’m also still waiting for a decision (applied the 10/18). From the people I’ve asked it seems like the window updates once your app is complete, but they only send the decision through snail mail so you can’t find out through the window. Earliest I’ve seen people hear back is two weeks but it looks like the average is definitely about a month.
@jetslife08 I applied 10/19 and haven’t heard anything yet
@amazane73 I still haven’t heard back either. Hoping to hear back in the next few days but I’m also worried they are flooded with apps from the deadline now.
I applied on 10/5 and haven’t heard yet either. I was told about 4-6 weeks (6 weeks marked two days ago) hopefully checking the mailbox every single day pays off soon.
@amazane73 @marauders Still waiting to hear back? I called last week asking if I had time to submit another SAT score and they said 6-8 weeks from when your app is marked complete on the portal but it seems like most people heard back within a month.
@fixermn1 can you please tell me a little bit about your app? I am a junior who is considering to ED early summer and want to see where I match up! Thanks and congrats!

@araad98 from what I have gathered if you apply over the summer or very early fall they are looking for their top students at that time. So unless you are above their range on most things I would hold off until a month or so before the deadline. I got deferred early decision and it was because they wanted to see my senior year grades. Good luck to you!
