i can't decide on what school to attend and wake forest is one of my two final options, i was wondering if anybody knew anything about wake forests job placement with a business degree? also i was wondering where many of the wake forests grads go onto graduate school? any help is appreciated, thanks!

cf21drums, the university has put a lot of effort into ramping up their career counseling/placement offices over the past two years. They hired people away from Stanford and UVA, and the director is taking a different approach in this new economy. Also, Steve Reinemund’s presence as Dean of the Business School (he was the former CEO of Pepsi, before Indra Nooyi), has made a big impact on the school’s profile and career prospects for the graduates. Not sure where the grads are going for MBAs, but there is a new 1-year program which has attracted students from top schools. Good luck with your decision!

If youre doing the Business Program, you should not have trouble finding a job. For other majors, career services is not as helpful. The business school has a career center for just the business school.

D (WFU '10) is in grad school at Yale. (Not a business major at Wake; getting her MPH)

They have revamped much of career services. Andy Chan (who was the Director of Career Services for Stanford’s Business school) is doing some really great things.

In terms of networking, i have found Wake alums to be very helpful and more than willing to lend a hand to a recent grad looking for a job.

what are you talking about will?
