Yeah I just wanted to know. Wake is a good D1 soccer school and I want to, and I can ability wise, play at the highest college level. I have not been recruited, so now I am left to walk on. What are my chances?

I’d say it’s gonna be pretty tough. Sure you can contact the coach and go to the tryouts (which i think are before school starts in fall), but for Wake it’s difficult. Wake recruits the best players in the nation and they don’t have trouble getting recruits so they’re rarely left with room for walk-ons.

I know 2 high school All-Americans who ended up transferring out of Wake because of lack of playing time. so it’s obviously difficult but I wish you the best of luck as it can definitely be done if you’re good enough

Very very low. Wake Forest is one of the best programs in the Nation and judging by the fact that you have not been recruited anywhere, this will not be an easy task. That’s not to say its impossible, just very very improbable.

Do you have to be enrolled at the school in order to tryout? Or can i just see how the tryout goes, then decide whether or not to attend?

No, you definitely have to be enrolled.

Wake gets the best players in the country, if your not getting recruited by anyone, the chances of you playing are practically 0.
