Wake Forest or the University of Miami?

<p>I was accepted to both; Miami was a 20k a year scholarship plus 7k in grants, and at Wake for about 24k a year scholarship.</p>

<p>To start off, I visited Wake and loved it. Gorgeous campus, great academics, and I liked the friendly students. I plan to major in economics or in a field of business, and WFU has a great business school. My problems are that the courseload is notoriously tough and Winston-Salem isn't that great of a town.</p>

<p>I visited Miami recently, and it was great. The city itself is amazing, the weather is unbeatable, the school's campus was great, and it's good academically. However, their business school isn't as highly ranked, but I think I would enjoy myself there. Really, I fell in love there.</p>

<p>I loved both schools so much, I don't know what to do.</p>

<p>Which should I choose?</p>

<p>Wake kids mostly hang out at Wake and do stuff off campus together. ACC sports are their major entertainment and when bands come to town, its often in Greensboro or Raleigh, an easy drive. </p>

<p>Wake has very strong ties to many significant businesses in Winston Salem, Greensboro, Charlotte, Atlanta and even up in New York.</p>

<p>Its less a party school than Miami. </p>

<p>Plus its close to Duke, NCState and Chapel Hill and Va. Tech and even UVa, so its in the heart of the ACC and that makes for a really awesome experience.</p>

<p>Great for graduate school applications as well.</p>

<p>Its your choice. But I prefer Wake</p>
