Wake Forest or U of Miami: Early Decision? Which do I have a better chance at?

I know both are a long shot. But I love both schools and want to hopefully get into one of them.

Okay here are my stats (I'm not a CC scholar, but give me a chance)

GPA: 3.7 UWGPA: 3.5
SAT: 1740/1160
National Honors Society (2 years)
California Scholarship Federation (4 years)
Three AP classes (World History, Lit, Environmental Sciences)
Excellence in Religious Studies Award (I go to an elite Catholic Prep School)

ECs:
Varsity Competitive Cheerleading (4 years) I PLAN TO CHEER IN COLLEGE, Most Valuable Player (2 years), 4 Varsity letters, All American Cheerleader (3 years), Head Cheerleader, practice 15 hours a week plus game time, travel to LA and Florida to nationals.
Student Council (2 years)
Lasallian Student Leadership (2 years) (school's leadership class)
Homecoming Committee Leader

Volunteer Work:
Spring Break in New Orleans to help rebuild Katerina Damage
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Assistant
Cheerleading Youth Camp Instructor
Work with Special Olympics
Dance Teacher at Montessori School

I plan to major in Sociology and/or Journalism (or some sort of writing program) and be active in a Pre-Law Society.

I'm going to apply ED to one of these schools. Which do you think I have a better chance at? I repeat, I know both are a long shot. These are my reach schools are I have more feasible matches and safeties as well.

Thank you in advance!

Also, I forgot to mention I have a job. I work at an upscale home store about 15 hours or a week.

Anyone? Please?

Why don’t you just apply EA to Miami? I’m not sure if Wake Forest offers EA, do I can’t help you there. Those schools cost $$, and you probably won’t get any ED.

My parents and I have over the financials of both schools and they’ve told me not to worry. Wake doesn’t offer EA. But my parents would like me to ED to one or the other (which I feel is agree with them on). Which would I have a better shot at for admission?

Thank you for your input. I guess I’m sort of caught between the two.

Anyone else have an opinion?

the only opinion I have is that the EA acceptance rate at Miami is higher than their ED rate…why?? no idea…but I do not recommend any of my students apply ED to Miami…

at least at Wake, you can hide your SAT score (test optional) and if you apply early, like NOW, you will know even before the Miami EA application is due…

Your SAT is low for Miami, based on the last few years of admissions…

You also offer more geographic diversity to Wake than to Miami…IMO
