Where do you think I have a better chance of getting into? I'm stuck between the two.

probably wake has better odds since its private…I think the GPA will kill you OOS @ UMich

yeah im looking at it. Wake offers a lot more financial aid and money compared to Mich and Mich OOS is just as expensive

any more insight guys? i cant decide really

I doubt you could get into Michigan as an OOS with a 3.26uw, plus your ACT is not spectacular. Wake is not a guarantee with your GPA either, but I feel that they take a more holistic approach then Mich does.
They will also offer better aid, since it sounds like that is important!

idk i was considering cause ive already been accepted to U of I Urbana Champaign OOS. also mich accepts a lot of kids at my school with low gpas too. I might just apply to both

Wake won’t be a guarantee either since it’s a small school

I know a guy with a 3.4 Weighted, 2200 SAT who applied ED and got rejected this year, but you seem to have better ECs than him

I got a 3.78 unweighted ,1910 sat. Applied EA for Ann Arbor and got deferred…

ah i see. its worth a shot.

I’d say you have a chance at both, but it will definitely be a reach. I agree that your GPA will be a problem. But if you write an amazing essay and have good recs, you can spin your application in the right way. I also think you have a better chance with WF, but not that much of a better chance…
