Kind of losing interest.
So frustrating, especially as its the number one choice and if its a denial will have to scramble other things…
Interesting that we received the Richmond acceptance by mail on Monday morning–it also was sent on a Friday.
Now we are still waiting for Wake–hopefully this week 8-|
Has anyone called I’m starting to get worried because it is taking so long? But if most people haven’t heard I guess we are in this together?
Still no word in Chicago. One kid said he got in, but we’ve not seen neither denial nor acceptance here. Three days of rushing to the mailbox and returning empty handed. Very frustrating. I used to think the email notifications were kinda lacking. But given the alternative, regular mail just leaves you wondering if it’s a mail-problem or a denial. And then there’s no denial letter either…
I called and they said all letters were mailed on Friday, and that everything else is left to the Postal Service. Also, the portal is not being updated at any point.
Accepted! In Georgia. Didn’t come in black and gold envelope. Came in 8 1/2 x 11" package with multiple people on front and back. Under mailing address and name before I even opened package it said. Congratulations!

Also went to a local Wake Forest Preview Day, along with an official College visit and Tour. Demonstrated interest was high.
Nothing in Michigan… haven’t heard of many people receiving decisions in the Midwest yet unfortunately.
