@carolineandrea I was also deferred ED1 and didn’t get the email that other deferred ED1 applicants got regarding a visit to wake. I think its a indication that we didn’t get in which is a really frustrating way to find out.
Anyone else a deferred ED1 applicant that didn’t get the accidental email regarding campus day? I still believe I am already rejected without receiving my letter beforehand
did anyone get anything in the mail today?
@rochellka I don’t think anybody gets US mail on Sundays…
I’m in CA so I’m expecting to hear yea/nay at about this Wednesday. Makes me nervous but we’ll see where the chips fall.
Was it sent priority mail?
Does the admissions packet show up in informed delivery? Because it says that there is mail, but no picture
@fatema786 just curious if you applied Ed and was deferred or did you apply Rd?
@UGG2023 priority mail can come on Sundays
@rochellka I’m assuming they sent them regular mail, priority mail would be 6 or 7 times more expensive than regular mail and would be delivered in 1-3 business days
If memory serves they send acceptances priority mail since we got it in CA in a few days my sons year.
@falco414 Informed Delivery doesn’t show the big (9 x13) envelopes that Wake sends for acceptances. So if you can see a regular sized envelope in USPS, it is probably a denial or WL. The fact that you see mail on a Sunday but can’t see the scan tells me you were accepted. Congratulations.
how do you check informed delivery? link would be appreciated
@MAhoose informed delivery is something that you sign up for and then you can see packages/letters being delivered though not everything shows up there if Wake didn’t send them as trackable they might not show up.
Here is a link to info on it.

Good Luck!
So I just made a USPS informed delivery page and it says I have no packages or Mail-pieces coming at all. I find this weird because I got my USC acceptance yesterday and the page does not have a record of that package either. Does Wake let ppl use informed delivery to check decisions? I didnt try this for USC bc i heard they dont
My D’s large envelope never showed up on Informed Delivery so it was a nice surprise the day it came
@CrudeOptimist it might take a couple of days to get it set up so it probably won’t show past things and like @citymama9 said it didn’t show up for her for the ED rounds.
We live in Winston Salem, can walk to the campus in moments, so I am guessing something should come this morning…nothing on Informed Delivery so I am guess it is untraceable.
Informed delivery for us this morning in KY has small envelope in regular mail from WF so it is rejection or waitlist. If you do not see anything and you are east coast it is a very good sign. Congrats!
Same for us here in MD this morning. Small envelope coming…
