So im guessing nyc will find out tomorrow

Were the decisions regular or priority mail?

@thepontinator - congratulations! Do you mind sharing what other school you are considering? My D has not heard yet, really hope she gets in, however, since she was accepted at a few UC’s (UC Santa Barbara & UC Davis) it will now be hard for us to justify the cost of Wake Forest even though it was high on her list. Curious if other students are making similar choices??

Waitlisted! I think I’m still pretty content with this. Does anyone know how goo Wake Forest is with waitlists?

@daphne66 I was also accepted to UCSB and UCSD and was accepted to Wake! Hopefully that’s good news for your D!

Accepted from Dallas!

GPA: 3.75
ACT: 34
Essays: VERY good (if I do say so myself)
Recs: no idea. Probably good, as I liked the teachers a lot.

Captain of a very successful academic decathlon team, many achievements in AcDec. 600+ volunteer hours with children. Good luck all

@HowAmIDoing the postage cost $1.19 so guess from there

@cakepops Did yours come in a large envelope or in a small regular size one?

Sounds like regular mail. That is good for those of us who did not receive package today because priority mail is 2-day in most places. Rejections most likely are in regular mail.

Here’s the map to see delivery times if it were priority mail (which it probably is not if postage is $1.19).

<a href=“Priority Mail Delivery Map | USPS”>https://www.usps.com/priority-mail/map/ WF zip code is 27106

It was in a large black envelope. The stamp was 1.19, so maybe priority? Dallas is a huge destination for mail, so maybe that’s why I got it faster. Who knows. Good luck to y’all

Got my acceptance letter today! Virginia

Accepted in MD. But no merit aid. Will go elsewhere.

@plswf2018 Regular envelope!

No letters up here in CT

@cakepops Thanks maybe I’ll have some insight into my decision tomorrow before I have to open anything

@daphne66 thank you! I’m considering William and Mary-Monroe Scholars and Penn State Schreyer. I’m in state in PA so PSU is much cheaper but I want a liberal arts, smaller school vibe. I may be leaning towards William and Mary at this point but i really love all three schools. I wish i could could go to all of them

DS Accepted to Wake Forest from Va. ACT 32, GPA W 4.34, UW 3.99, AP X5 with scores of 5’s on Calc BC and Physics, varsity baseball, NHS, Spanish HS, Octagon Club…awesome essays! Thrilled for him

lopextlo7 did the acceptance come yesterday in the mail or today (Friday)? We are in Virginia as well ans waiting on pins and needles!

Just chiming in to say a big CONGRATS to those accepted - Wake is a very special place! Two years ago, S2 was anxiously waiting after being denied by his ED school (where his brother was). He had originally struggled with where to apply ED (Wake or the other school) but decided he really wanted to be with his brother and thought he may have an advantage with the “legacy” bump. Not to be. Fast forward 2 years - he is thriving, LOVES Wake and simply can not picture himself anywhere else. It does all work out in the end.

To those waiting, hope the mail brings good news soon. To those “re-directed” - you will thrive where you are planted!

Best of luck to all!!
