hi, i'm applying to wake forest, and I have terrible SAT reading and writing scores, but I have pretty good math, math 2 subject test, and chemistry test scores. So should I submit my scores for consideration ?
Thank you

I don’t see how you could omit your SAT writing/reading scores from your SAT I tests without omitting the whole test.
But yes, you should send all your scores.

I believe you can just submit the subject test scores? Your scores probably aren’t too bad; better just to send them all anyway.

i have a 490 readinf, 540 writing, 800 math, 800 math 2, 760 chem…

This seems to be a big unknown with WF as to what you you should do. WF requires no test scores. It says that if you feel the SAT or ACT may properly reflect your abilities you can send it and it will be considered as part of the process, but if you feel the test does not reflect your abilities then don’t send it. It says nothing about SAT IIs, although before it went to test optional two years ago, it would consider SAT IIs if sent (not required to be sent). So I guess part of your question is whether you should just submit the IIs and not the SAT. Hard to say. If you submit the IIs it may give them some consideration, but if you submit the IIs without the SAT they may ask the obvious question since that would be a tip-off that you took the SAT and decided not to send it and thus believed it was bad. You could also just send both the SAT and IIs but then they will in fact consider the SAT as part of the process. I lean toward sending the IIs because they are good and the good may outweigh the bad connotation but i am not certain I am guessing right.

^Yeah.

Why would you sent poor SATs to an SAT optional school?

You sound like the perfect case for the “SAT optional” move. I’d send the SAT subject test scores and omit the SAT Is. You don’t need to show the 800 in the MAT SAT I since you have an 800 in the subject test.

^^concur with gadad. Definitely send the subject test scores.
