For spring admissions, below are some schools that I mentioned on your previous thread that might help to create a more balanced list of schools to apply to (bolded the ones that meet the updated wishlist & added more info about them):

Most of these schools have no Greek life. For those that do, I don’t think it is a dominant social force like it can be at schools with high percentages of participants and/or located in the south. All of these, I believe, have a January start available.

• Case Western (OH) - 40% transfer admission rate, about 6k undergrads in Cleveland
• Clark (MA) - 70% transfer admission rate, about 2400 undergrads in Worcester
• College of the Holy Cross (MA) - 34% transfer admission rate, about 3100 undergrads in Worcester
• Connecticut College - 31% transfer admission rate
• Fairfield (CT) - 45% transfer admission rate, about 4800 undergrads in Fairfield
• Lake Forest (IL) - 59% transfer admission rate
• Lewis & Clark (OR) - 61% transfer admission rate, about 2200 undergrads in Portland
• Reed (OR) - 15% transfer admission rate
• St. John’s (MD or NM) - 34% transfer admission rate
• Sarah Lawrence (NY) - 54% transfer admission rate
• Seattle U. (WA) - 59% transfer admission rate, about 4k undergrads in Seattle
• U. of Rochester (NY) - 42% transfer admission rate, about 6800 undergrads in Rochester

All of the schools above are privates, but I don’t know how generous they are with respect to granting transfer credits. Public schools tend to be more generous. A public school with spring transfers that your son may want to consider is Christopher Newport (VA): About 4600 undergrads with about 20% of students in Greek life. If your son loves sailing, this is a great spot to be.

Saint Joseph’s (PA ) is a Jesuit option in Philadelphia that has about 5100 undergrads. Its website touts that it’s one of the top universities for transfer students (source) and also has a dorm that is focused on transfer students. And it takes spring transfers.
