<p>Help! I am freaking out about school!! My gpa is rather low as I struggled freshman/sophomore year; however junior year I had straight A's. I have taken 5 AP's, but that is a lot for my school as we only have a couple to choose from. (small private school) I go to a academically rigorous school and live in NC
Credentials:
GPA 3.46UW 3.99W (93-100 A) (92-84 B)
ACT: composite: 31 reading: 35 English: 34 Math: 28 Science: 28
EC: Many, Senior Class VP, work experience, service, cross country captain, track, etc.
My essay is very unique and very well written
Wake: my interview went well I think, interviewer and I seemed to really get along!!
I talk in my app. about my upward spiral with grades.
Do you think i will get denied just because of my bad grades freshman/sophomore year??</p>

feel free to list any schools you think would be a good fit as well. I do not want to be too far away from NC but would change that if it was perfect school. I am very hard-working and motivated and want to major in business minor in history and become a corporate lawyer</p>

<p>I was just accepted into Wake Forest this week and while I have better grades than you I did not submit SAT or ACT scores. Yours are well above the average and you should submit them as they help you stand out. I would have some back up schools though as you are looking at some competitive schools. Sewanee, Wofford, and Furman are similar great schools that are a little easier to get into, all ranked in the top 100 on the Forbes list, and all in the southeast.</p>

W&L is certainly a reach but not impossible, make sure you interview.
