Wake Forest University "Official" Acceptance Thread

SAT I: 800M 640CR -> total 1440/1600
SAT II: math iic 800, physics ??? collegeboard lost my score! bad people :frowning:
AP: Microecon A/5, APUSH (didn’t take the course)/3, AP Physics(senior year) A/? (hasn’t take the exam yet), AP Calc BC(senior) A/?, AP Macroecon(senior year) A/?
GPA: 3.8/4.0, 4.7/5.0
Rank: not sure but probably top 10% out of 100 kids because by the end of each semester I was listed as one of 10-15 the kids who got the honor roll
TOEFL (because English is not my first language and i’ve been living in america only for about 2 years): 113-115 out of 120.</p>

<p>Interview: On campus interview, no idea if it was good/bad
Essays: unique topics chosen, not sure if they are particularly good
Teacher Recs: did not see them, but they all said they wrote spectacular recs for me and i trust them</p>

<p>hook: Early Decision Plan, being a foreigner?

major strength/weakness: ECs were not very strong.
ECs: couple of service hours and individual research about some random board games…, a couple awards from school such as math/science honors, National Latin Exam, biology olympiad award, NHS, junior marshal thingy, president/founder of two clubs, club soccer, wind ensemble,…etc…nothing special tho.</p>
