Wake Forest Waitlist, now what?

Hi! i was recently put on the wait list for WFU. There is a section on the card asking the student when the student would like to be considered by. Ex) May 15 or June 1st or July 1st. My question is do they put the applications in different stacks? which one should i put if i want the best chance in getting in? Thank You!

I put June 1st bc then it gives you enough time to line up things at wake and cancel at your other school. I am praying I get in (its my first choice) but basically they say oh ___ many people declined the offer so we have that many spots and then take their next best options. Basically the first wave will admmit the most if not all of the people since very few decline the offer in june or july

Hi. Is there any way to stay on the waitlist through the internet account (Window to Wake Forest) or other means? I haven’t been able to send back the waitlist card yet and I am worried that it will be too late to send it on Monday.

i called the admissions person, because I was worried about the same thing, i was wondering if i needed to express mail mine, she said “no, dont worry about it, it should be here in plenty of time with normal mail” ( i live in TX ) so just send it by Monday! @idontgotcha

@colleger09 @soccer810 @juliamiles Has any of you heard back from Wake Forest? I put down June 1st and haven’t heard back from them yet. Orginally, my date was May 15th, and they said “we were still in the process of consideration but the deadline has passed.” when I called them because they haven’t emailed or called me. I changed the date to June 1st, and on June 1st, I called them again after hearing nothing from them. In the call, they promised me to call me though phone(I’m not in US anymore, so that is a no no) or through email(which I have not received anything yet). I am kind of frustrated right now.

I havent heard back either but I believe if you get in then they will call you. You can always call to ask to see how the waitlist is going but its most likely closed and only 1-3 more people will get in.
