On a 1-10 scale, how hard is it to get into Wake Forest would you say?

ummmmm....7 or so? It's not the hardest school in the world to get into, but it's not County Community College either. Maybe someone could give you a better idea of your chances if you post some SAT scores or grades or something.

Would it be out of the question to get admitted there with a 3.7 GPA and an 1800 SAT?

No. Retake the SAT though IMO, it's a bit low for wake.

I didn't get an 1800, that was my original goal for the retake, but I guess I'm gonna have to shoot higher now. 1900 then?

I'd shoot closer to a 1950-2000.

Are you instate or out of state?

Out of state.

bumppppppppp

In state or out of state doesn't matter because Wake is a private school.

admissions officers from wake told me it does somewhat, nothing like a public school obviously, but instate and out of state is taken into account in admissions at Wake.

BTW, my guidance counselor worked in Wake's admissions office before she became a gc, and that's what she told me about instate and oos admissions.

On a sidenote, scarletleavy, I see you're from winston-salem, what school is it you hail from?

Obviously they want some geographical diversity, but it isn't a deciding factor in admissions where they require a certain amount in-state. That was my point. Unless you're from a really out there state, like Wyoming or Montana it won't make much of a difference.

I go to Wake Forest.
