Can anyone give me what their average wake-up time at Penn is?

So don't register for any classes before 11:00......or later. It is that simple.

Mine is 9:00 am on weekdays, but it's definitely possible to wake up at 10 if you register for classes accordingly.

Very possible and also not too hard to accomplish.

How about for the people who are big wake up at noon types ;)

You can easily get through with no early classes. What you lose is the ability to select for a specific prof or a specific elective...thats about it.

man I'm going to love getting up at 9

i hate getting up @ 6:30 just for high school

and......at college they don't lock you as if you were in prison. Freedom and sleep......paradise.

yea i have to get up at 7 everday...im going to guarantee myself at least a 9am wake up in college.

no doubt.

Yeah same here, though I'd be perfectly content waking up even at 8:30 :-) My high school starts at 7:20! Talk about HORRIBLE!!

It would just be awesome not to have to wake up at 6 AM!

I'm going to have to find someone willing to shake me out of bed everyday in college because I have an infatuation with my snooze button.

I'm right there with ya Eckie, I got a radio alarm to help wake me up for Christmas (my regular alarm wasn't cutting it).

But I've had to move it farther and farther away from my bed so I don't just slap the snooze button and fall right back to sleep... now it's about 7 feet from my bed and If I particularly tried when it goes off I usually throw a pillow or two at it hoping to silence it before I finally get the energy to get up.

Still, it something I want to change in college so I'll probably still go for morning classes. I'd rather have a more open afternoon

i can top that sogui...my alarm is now across the room, shielded by my ps2 so i wont be tempted to throw something at it...

no joke

I had to move my alarm to the far corner of my room so that I don't turn it off, because usually I throw myself at my alarm and then jump back into bed. I am so used ot it, I don't even rember turing it off

I have multiple alarms and I use a different one every few days because otherwise I'll get used to the sound and won't even wake up. But i can usually make myself wake up at a certain time if i want to.

Re, same thing man. i have 3 alarms...alarm clock, cell phone, 2nd alarm clock (which is always set for 5 mins after the 1st 2)

cell phones work well if you put it near you on vibrate. The shaking's really loud through the mattress and wakes you up. But you have to be sure ur not gonna push the cell phone off the bed when u sleep.

well my cell phone is really, really loud...so yea.

i want one of those cd alarm clocks where you wake up to music...id blare some metal...and since i hate metal, i would always get up to turn it off.

I use 3 alarms (no kidding). One of them is my computer, which is connected to speakers, which if I want, can sound really loud and definitely wake me up. The bad thing is that I'm getting just to jump out of bed, go to the computer, close the alarm program, and go back to sleep. But so far I've managed to wake up on time.
