Wake vs Davidson

Im having a really difficult time deciding between Wake Forest and Davidson...
im also waiting for decisions from colgate and emory but am trying to decide between these since this will probably be the decision i will be making in a few months

ive worked very hard throughout high school and go to a small public school, but I dont know if Davidson would be enough of a change, even though Im from the North East. I loved both schools while I was visiting, and am planning on going to the accepted students visiting day

any advice?

I'm sure that people in the Wake Forest side will sing the praises of Wake Forest and if you go to the Davidson page, they will tell you to go to Davidson.

Davidson and Wake Forest were actually the final two schools that I considered, but obviously I chose Wake Forest. For me, Wake Forest still offered the benefits of a small liberal arts school, but I didn't worry that I might outgrow it in four years. I loved being in small classes and working with professors who knew my name. I also liked some of the admittedly more superficial elements of Wake Forest: I'm a sports fan--and I loved going to ACC basketball and football games. I liked having a larger number of students in my class so that I was still meeting new people my junior and senior years. For me, Wake Forest offered the fuller college experience.

Honestly, though, you are doing the right thing. Go to a couple of campus days and trust your gut in the end. Most people end up loving whatever college they attend.

Thanks for the advice!!
its now definately either Wake Forest or Davidson for me, so I guess Ill just wait until i go down to visit before I decide. How are the dorms at Wake? Ive heard that the food is incredible...which is very important.
The superficial elements are definately important in deciding where to go to school, because at this point ill get a terrific education at either school, its just deciding between the two. Did you go abroad last year?
