Quick question- what is the lowest Sat score that someone got accepted with last year? I realize that Wake looks at the "whole package," but I was just wondering where is the starting point of the low end of Sats? Thanks to anyone that can help me.

I don't know. I do know though that many top colleges ( even Harvard, Yale, etc etc) admit a few (like 1-2% of the class) with SAT sections (not total score) in the 400-500 range. These people are people the schools really want though: like minorities, from underrepresented states, or quadriple legacies. These people have a 'hook'.

I had average wake applicant SATS (above 1300 old SAT) and I'm at Wake right now. I know two people here who had significantly lower Scores. These people however have talents/background/connections that set them apart.

I truly believe that Wake cares about the essays you write. I think the admissions officers are slightly less focused on scores and more focused on finding people that fit with Wake.

Yeah, that's a number that you're never going to be able to find anywhere.
