<p>Has anyone heard from the Walmart Scholarships. They said they would release in April 2008, i have not heard anything howeve.</p>
<p>I remeber reading somewhere that a manager from each local store will call the winner around April 25.</p>

<p>The website says that SWCS recipients cannot be employed or be a dependent of an associate at Wal-Mart as of April 25th....Can anyone confirm that tomorrow's the day?</p>
<p>I rechecked the stuff I printed when I applied, and there is nothing there about when we will be notified. I guess we all just sit by the phone tomorrow?</p>
<p>If this one is like all the other scholarships (Best Buy, MetroPCS, Lowe's, etc...) this year, it has about 100,000 applicants and they will only contact the winners. It would be great if they would let us know either way. Good luck to all the CCers out there!!!</p>

<p>I got a phone call today from a lady from the local Wal-Mart. She said that I would be getting an acceptance packet in the mail with instructions on how to accept the scholarship.</p>

<p>List of scholarship winners is posted on Wal-Mart's website...just thought everyone else would like to know. I didn't get it :( but at least I can still hope for the Best Buy and Lowe's scholarships. Good luck to everyone!</p>

<p>Suh-weet, I won! I was confused about the notification date too. I didn't even receive a phone call from a Walmart representative, like a poster before me mentioned. Good thing I logged onto CC. :D</p>
