<p>Not in La Jolla, and I'm not sure taking the bus there is even doable. If it is, it's gonna be one heck of long trip. I'm pretty sure there's one near claremont, but don't hold me to that.</p>
<p>yeah there is, but it's going to take an hour (at least) by bus and you still can't buy all that much. you don't have friends with cars? or shop online?</p>

<p>Easy - take the 41 bus to Clairemont Mesa Blvd & Genesee, walk across the street to the SE corner and get on the 44 bus heading towards Mesa College/Linda Vista/Old Town. Get off at the stop just after you cross over the freeway (after "Boomers") in front of Soup Plantation/Mc Donalds etc. Then all you have to do is walk south thru the parking lot to Walmart. Be sure to check the schedules, because the 44 only comes 2x per hour. Oh, and that's the same bus that you can take all the way down Convoy Street and explore some great asian restaurants. It also goes down thru Linda Vista past USD to Old Town where you can pick up the trolley. It's not on the UCSD free bus line, but you can buy a $5 day pass. It's not as bad as everyone is making it sound.</p>
