I've been offered parking at 36ST (Lot 36 Yellow Student). How long does it take to get to North Campus buildings like fowler, bunche etc?

Thanks

A long, long time.

Apparently lots of new-ish people got placed in lot 36. Did you all not list a preference or something? Just curious, cuz I've never heard of people being placed there and this week all kinds of CCers are saying they got placed in 36, which really is just cruel.

Anyways, sorry. To answer your question, I'd estimate 30-40 minutes. Maybe less, maybe more, depending on how fast you are/how much you're carrying/if you hit green lights or not.

Lot 36 is on WILSHIRE. and KINROSS. That's FAR.

It takes me about 10 minutes to walk to Royce (admittedly in heels and with a heavy purse that somewhat ruins my center of gravity, somewhat slowing me down) from lot 7, which is way closer than 36. Bunche is closer to 12 minutes, and Pub policy is about 15.

Earlier I suggested to someone else who got placed in 36 to check out the shuttle system. The lot is much closer to the shuttle stops south of wilshire (just across the street) and would take much less time and energy than walking to north campus each way. Definitely look into this.

wow, that sucks. I definitely put preferences, but was unlucky I guess.

I live on Beverly & Pico, so I guess I'd have to change buses if I wanted to take public transportation.

The shuttle seems to be the best option. They are free right? And only a couple minutes from lot 36?

Yeah. Shuttles are free and are definitely closer than walking.
