Hey! So I just sent in my Georgetown EA App, and feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders :) Anyone else sending things in lately?

I have, and I feel the same way you do!

I feel worried!

Chicago EA

Hope I get into Georgetown EA

Salpert, is Georgetown your first choice?

It feels so good to hit that SUBMIT button... until later you realize that you forgot to change something on your essay or something like that... as I know I will... :)

Omg I Feel So Good!

Yes, I know exactly what you mean! Once you get accepted somewhere, even if it's a safety, it's even better.

I've got 3.5 down, .5 to go. I'm getting pumped

bjs: you're so right. By Nov of my Senior year, I had been admitted at a premier state school -- and they were beginning to throw money at me. On a lark, a friend suggested I apply to some Ivies. I was ignorant to how stacked the odds were against me. Go figure -- I was admitted by each of them. I never really worried because I was more or less taken care of pretty early on and stupidly meandered into an Ivy matriculation.

Good luck to each of you

Bobmallet, yes it is :) We'll see how it goes, eeeek!

Phew! After 30 minutes of common app being slow and stupid, it is SENT!!! Good job everyone! Hopefully everyone will be receiving good news come December!

Where did you all apply?

Yes, relief! =] I submitted mine a few days ago. That was great, except now I'm worried about whether or not I'll get in xD

Northwestern EDer here.

I submitted the application to my safety school and the UNC Chapel Hill application on the 29th, and the Elon EA application last night. It feels really, really good. I still have some other things I need to apply for (supplementals for scholarships, honors programs, Brown RD), but knowing that if all else fails I have a good shot at my top choice school is an amazing feeling.

i'm really paranoid about me Georgetown app since it can't be submitted online. I'm afraid that maybe it got lost in the mail or torn open or something awful and then my application fee would just be a waste of money.

I FedExed mine so I can track it and such. My dad owns a postal store though so its really cheap for me.

T26E4: I never really worried because I was more or less taken care of pretty early on and stupidly meandered into an Ivy matriculation.

Do you feel your choice was a mistake?

savor your relief!....the next step where you get to know your mailman's schedule intimately is perhaps full of more trepidation....a different kind though.

WHOA YEAH!

Thanks Chedva, Northstarmom, T26E4 and EVERYONE HERE. It's so good to have a whole bunch of equally-obsessed people to talk to while applying. :)

Now excuse me while I go cross my fingers.

YAY!
Finally!
They're in!

okay i was really paranoid last night after i submitted it and realized that nowhere on the commonapp does it ask if youre doing early or regular, just on the supplements. thats ok right? or did i just miss something the past 3 months that ive been doing this?
