Who is "us." Other people, not you!

What? I don't comprehend your rude tone. They should notify the winners by May 1st is what I meant.

Yeah, that wasn't necessary UltimateFrisbee. I understood what he meant, he meant the general public, to those few applicants that applied for the scholarship.

I should've applied for the Wal Mart scholarship...how was the application formatted and what were some of the things that they required?

The whole application was online. No essay was required.

I applied. I hope I get it.

Does anyone know how competitive the scholarship is? And how many awards are given out... Is it like the KFC one...(which I didnt get...)

I didn't get the KFC scholarship either. But each walmart gives out 2 $1000 scholarships.

No, according to collegeboard's scholarship service the statistics are:

Number of awards granted:

* 4,617

Number of applicants:

* 42,564

The Sam Walton Community Scholarship is a $1000 scholarship that is given to two students from each walmart.

Those numbers that you posted should add up to two winners per walmart and sam's club.

did you guys receive emails or any type of notification?

Tomorrow is the day! I think I applied for it...hopefully! I don't remember, because I've been applying to colleges and scholarships like crazy.

Well, best of luck to all of you! I hope a select few of your applications were "tha bomb!"

O yeah, notify us if any of you are "winners!"

yea, I hope all of us get it.

Was the notification date May 1st for last year too? Cause I was checking out the past walmart winners and they didn't know till June.

Ooo, I couldn't have applied for that because my parents are not full-time employees at any Wal-Mart facility! -_-

I knew it was too good to be true. :(

They don't have to be employees.
