<p>Those of you still waiting...keep in mind that our local Wal-Mart is going through the school and awarding the scholarship at the assembly the day before graduation. So, in short, don't give up hope if you haven't heard either way.</p>

<p>Just to let you all know...not being notified by Walmart doesn't really mean anything...the deadline that they have is to notify the stores. Walmart is very slow. I was actually never notified...I happened to search the winners list last year for people in Philadelphia and my name was there : )! The best way to find out if you won would be to go to the Walmart Foundation website and search your name in the list of winners; this list should be posted soon.</p>

<p>wow, no one has posted on this thread since 2007 ?
I have notes that say that semifinalist notifications will be emailed in late February 2010. and final notifications emailed to all applicants tin Early May.</p>

<p>I applied as well. Looony2nz - if you want to search go to search or forum tools and search for ‘walmart scholarship’ or something similar. They’re in the top right area when you’re in the recent threads area</p>

<p>i have questions for those who applied . … I can’t seem to check the status of my application, can anyone else? also, did we need to send our sat/act scores? lastly, anyone been notified yet?</p>

<p>^nope, the status part appears to be disabled</p>

<p>I didn’t see anywhere that said we needed to send the scores, just that we needed to have taken the test. We might need to send them if we’re semifinalists. </p>

<p>Can’t speak for anybody else, but I haven’t been notified yet. It is getting toward late February, though.</p>

<p>Check your e-mails - I got semifinalist notification today. We need and official transcript, copy of ACT/SAT scores, and a tax return. They’re due in Iowa by March 8, so there’s not much turnaround time. Good luck!</p>
