3.64 GPA
Ranked 9 out of 120

SAT CR: 670
SAT Math: 590

I however, due to my father being the Navy, attend a school in California. I believe I still have Texas residency, but do not know whether that means I still qualify for the top 10% rule.

If you are instate, then you’re good to go. OOS is sort of a low reach, but you have a good rank so that’s always a great thing.

But am I considered out of state, considering I have a Texas residency?

No if you a Texas resident, then you are an in-state student. But you might want to call and double check!

You may have Texas Residency, but I don’t think you qualify for the top 10% rule. I think you have to graduate from a Texas High School to qualify there. However, since your Dad is military, I would definitely call admissions and ask. That will clarify your status and enable to to better understand your chances of getting in.

No–Texas residents qualify regardless of their high school’s location IIRC.

You should be good for Undergrad Studies. You haven’t posted any details so ik about your chances elsewhere.

I think the OP qualifies as a texas resident for in state tuition but not for automatic admission
