oh, **SCHOOLS

1 Tulane

Fordham
Iona
Scranton
UMD College Park
SUNY New Paltz
Manhattan

(RD)
Binghamton
Lafayette
Gettysburg
Villanova
Syracuse

And those crazy-not-even-going-to-take-them-remotely-seriously-reaches:
BC
CUNY Macaulay Honors (the free one) @ Hunter
(Both RD)

Of course, my RD list will probably considerably shorten if I get into #1...

I was already accepted to Adelphi and St. Johns U. (Pretty big $$$$$ from St. John's, but I won't hear about merit from Adelphi for the next few weeks.) Safeties regardless, but just to give you an idea...

Also, if you'd like to suggest any schools to add to my list, be my guest.

Thanks in advance! And remember, cookies coming for high scores! :P

You can get into all, trust me :-). Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816473-chance-aa-female-elite-schools-updated-stats.html</a> <–Include Yale also!

Really? All? Thanks…

Anyone else?!

i have a 3.81 and a 1430/2180 SAT score and i got into tulane with a 15k a year scholarship

soo on that basis, i say that you will get into tulane, but you might receive a little less cash

^ Thanks!! I’m not really concerned all that much with merit cash from Tulane. I’d just like admittance. I fit into their “no loan” bracket (first place having a single mom has ever helped me), so I think it would be pretty affordable regardless of how much merit I received.

And congrats on your acceptance and scholarship! Will you be attending?

Aw, is that all I’m gonna get?

I’ll guess that you get in everywhere. I’d only be worried about maybe BC and the honors college (because I’m unfamiliar with it), but I say you’re in at all of your schools.

your GPA might be a little low for BC, Tulane and SUNY Binghampton, but otherwise I think you’d be in everywhere (you have a good chance ^with those too thougth)

chance me back : )

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/820193-chance-columbia-u-cc-ed-class-14-a.html</a></p>

I’m thinking you are in at all your EA and RD schools (and will be offered some very nice merit money at Scranton).

The one I am not sure of is BC. Could go either way. Good Luck!

hey i will bet that you will get into Tulane no doubt that is a promise, i’d actually put a hundred dollars on it

^ Yay, thanks! Cash, check, or money order if you’re wrong? I can also do PayPal. :)

Thanks to everyone else! T-minus twelve days until decisions!

you could probably aim higher, youre in everywhere except for BC. not saying you wont, but its the only one that has doubt. SATs are good enough for it, but class rank/gpa is a bit low. good luck

^ Thanks. I’m not even really considering it as a rational possibility, haha. My GPA is awful (well, for me…) but I do have a good explanation for it, so we’ll see. I figured that if I got into all of my EA’s, I’d apply to some more reaches RD. I’m just not exactly sure where… (or if I even want to, since my heart is in New Orleans).

Why not NYU?

^No campus. :(

(That will also answer “Why not BU?”)

where are your reach schools?? i would say you’re in everywhere.

Honestly, you’re only true reaches are Fordham, Binghamton, BC, and Macaulay.

I had a friend go to Tulane (on free ride), and he absolutely LOVES it. He got into Northwestern, but it was too expensive. Now he says that Tulane was one of the best decisions of his life.

But to Iona, Scranton, SUNY New Paltz, and Manhattan expect a full ride.
To Syracuse, MD, and Lafayette expect good amounts of money (over 50% off).

To Tulane, I wouldn’t expect more than $10k or less than $5k.

I would give you a 75% shot at Macaulay (which I have also heard good things about) and a 50% shot at Boston College.

Good Luck!

Fordham a reach? Interesting… I’ve heard people tell me it was a safety.

Thanks a lot for the optimism everywhere else though! :)

Hahahahahaha. Well, thanks.

Not sure about extra reaches. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Of the ones I’m familiar with:
Tulane: In
Fordham : In
UMD College Park: In
Villanova: In/Probably
Syracuse: In
BC: Maybe/Probably

Thanks for chancing me!
Good luck!
