To go to CC for 1-2 years but want to transfer to a traditional,
out of the city campus with a high quality acting B.A. I haven’t
Found a BFA out of the city that will accept transfers without
starting the four year clock again. I would like to finish my degree
in the Midwest but am open… I already know about Columbia
College Chi, UUC, ISU, and Bradley (but wouldn’t mind hearing from
A Bradley performance major).
BFA programs normally are so tightly structured that they can’t admit transfers. If you need/want to start at a CC, you should focus on strong BA programs as your transfer targets.
Have you investigated DePaul, Milliken, Monmouth, and Western Illinois?
Only the first two, 4-yr BFA’s. I’ll check on Monmouth. I’ve never seen W. IL mentioned in regards to quality of
Education and graduates.
