Want Business, don't want to STUDY business

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty set on the fact that I want to enter the business field when I graduate from college, but I don't want to major in business while I'm enrolled. To me, an undergraduate business degree isn't very beneficial. I want to get an MBA down the road, and I feel like I'll just end up taking the same courses I took in college.

My current major/minor is:
MAJOR: Electrical & Computer Engineering
MINOR: Computational Finance

Is this an okay setup? Do business firms look for engineers? How do I find an internship at a business firm while I'm studying engineering?

yeah you'll be fine, engineers can do alot of stuff.

a lot of business firms like engineers. anything quantitative really. a good number of engineers get their MBA's too.
