Want colleges for several requirements

Dear CC,

I am an international student.
I took the October SAT and the score will be around 2150.

I really want colleges located in busy cities like NYU, and have less Asian students(not racism) .

My major will be finance and will learn a foreign language like german.

Are you determined to major in finance, or are you open to alternatives such as economics? Many selective schools don’t offer a finance major.

What about costs? How much is your family able and willing to pay? Many schools have little or no need-based aid for international students.

The University of Pennsylvania is located in a busy city (Philadelphia). Its Wharton School does offer a finance major. It is one of the top colleges for aid to international students ([Top 25 Financial Aid Colleges in US for International Students (Need-aware) - Desperate Guide: Undergraduate College Financial Aid, Scholarship](http://www.desperateguide.com/us/top-25-financial-aid-colleges-in-us-for-international-students-need-aware)). However, it also is one of America’s most selective schools. In 2012-13, about 19% of Penn’s first year students were Asians. You can look up Asian enrollments in each school’s Common Data Set, section B.

Large state universities are more likely to have finance majors than selective private schools. However, state universities are less likely to offer need-based aid to internationals.
