Want to change location, same program- is this possible?

Hi all,

I just got accepted into the LS Core Program at NYU, but the problem is when I applied back in October I selected Florence as my first choice. I’ve been having second thoughts for a while, and want to start in New York City first. If I let admissions know ASAP, is it possible to change if I’m staying in the Core Program? Does anyone know if the program is usually full?

Thanks for all your help! It’s fine if I go to Florence, but I would REALLY like to stay in NYC now.

Oh God I have the exact same issue!!! I didn’t get to choose the campus when I accept the offer, and the housing page just says Florence freshman… I am about to email NYU.

@mchen1776 there’s a wait list for those who want to change their location. just email NYU admissions.

You won’t hear back until mid-May at the earliest though.

I requested change from Florence back to New York.
