Want to do Undergrad in Germany (Bavaria? Baden?)

I am a junior at a typical American public school in a fairly rural setting.

If I run the table, I will graduate with a 3.98/4.36 GPA.

Math: AP Calc BC (through CTY), AP Stats
Science: Honors Physics, AP Physics 1 and 2 (through CTY); Honors Chem; One year Bio
English: Two years of regular English sandwiched by two honors courses (no AP–would have killed my schedule)
Foreign Language: two years plus one year of honors French (no chance to learn German)
Social Sci: AP Gov; AP US Hist; World Hist, Geography, Model UN
Other: Debate, Creative Writing, and a few other practical skill courses.

I really have not set out to accumulate tons of community things. But I have done things in the arts and volunteered, both from the heart.

SAT? I only took it once cold turkey, but my PSAT was 96th percentile. I am hoping to get 1450+ on the CR+M of the SAT.

College Plans? I would like to do my undergrad years in Germany. I plan to go on exchange after I graduate to get going on my German language study. Like most I would like to get into the best school possible. But also, I would love to live in Bavaria or Baden, so TU Munchen, LMU Munchen, and Heidelberg look great.

Subject? Hmm…I am still unsettled as to direction. But material science always seems to be on my short list. Otherwise, the idea of a career in the foreign service sounds cool.

I welcome any and all advice. Thanks!!!

TUM is considered one of the best in Germany (and Europe). Most of the german schools are quite good.

They will be concerned about your level of german speaking ability. I think most of the classes will be taught in German. How will you demonstrate this proficiency??
