Want to double major, show interest for both majors on applications

Hi!

So I want to double major in theatre and psychology in university. I’ll probably apply as a theatre major because it’s easier to declare a double major in for psychology than it is for theatre. I’m doing AP Bio, AP Psych, psychology and theatre internships, summer programs, and SAT subject tests (and more) for both topics. How do I show that I want to declare a double major. For example, my psychology clinic internship: that would help for a psychology major, but how do I show that intention on the applications?

Why do you want to show schools you want to declare a double major?

What kinds of schools are you applying to?

Because I’m doing other activities that relate to psychology. I don’t want them to think I’m “wasting my time”, even though I do intend to pursue a double major.
