Want to earn a Ph. D! Should I major in Zoology?? Help!

<p>I am a college freshman and I am thinking I might want to become a Pharmacist. A bachelor's degree in any major is required as long as I meet the pre-req's for getting into College of Pharmacy. I do not know what I should major in. Do you think Zoology is a good option?? I need a backup plan just in case I don't get into College of Pharmacy. Suppose I get a Bachelor of Science degree, would there be any GOOD job opportunities with a major in Zoology?? What if I were to major in Accounting?? I'm confused.</p>

<p>I am nervous because I'm not sure if Pharmacy is for me, I'm still undecided. I hated Physics in high school. Chemistry was kind of boring.</p>

<p>A bachelor's degree is NOT required for pharmacy. Some people choose to get one, most just do 2-3 years of pre-reqs, take the PCAT one or more times, and apply. Can you shadow a pharmacist or talk with a pre-pharm advisor? You'll have at least 4 chem classes in your pre-reqs, probably only one physics, and 2-4 bio classes. Should cover the basics for most science majors.</p>
