I want to get a small tattoo of some mandarin proverb on my hand. It would be quite visible but not too big (like all over my hand) .Should I get it as in job prospects wise? Would Employers discriminate against a small tattoo on the hand?

Tattoos not concealable by normal clothing will add to the risk of an employer having a negative reaction. While many won’t care, you won’t know that beforehand.

As someone who doesn’t get the whole tattoo culture, if I were faced with two equal applicants, and one had a visible tattoo, I would hire the one without the tattoo. That’s just me, but I am sure there are plenty of others like me.

I have tattoos. None are visible.
