Hi, i am brand new to this site, so forgive me if i post this in a wrong section.

Im going into my senior year in high school, and i am very interested in pharmacy.
I want to know what my chances are of getting into a 6 year pharmD program.

I got a 1270/1600 on the SAT's. Have a 90 avg, dont know what that is on a 4.0 scale(seems to vary) Class rank approx. 40/150. Do a few clubs, nothing big.
Volunteer at hospital, center around the pharmacy. about 50 hours thus far. may be getting a part time job at a pharmacy, my mom is friends with a pharmacist.

Visited Albany College of Pharmacy last week, my top choice, plan to apply early decision.
Want to know my chances of getting into ACP, Rutgers, St Johns, SUNY Buffalo, Philidelphia, a few others ive forgeten.

Thank you in advance. This seems to be a very knowledgeable site.

You will very likely be accepted at ACP, USP and MCPHS (if that’s on your list), definitely at UB and will likely get merit money, maybe at Rutgers if you’re from NJ, and are probably a bit low on SAT and gpa for St John’s. It really depends on their applicant pool for this year but they are very numbers driven.

Fwiw, you might check out Wilkes as well - you’d likely receive a decent merit award there. They’re have a nice school in central PA and will consider your pharmacy experience a plus. They do have a 2 step process favoring early applicants and have a required interview though so get your app in asap! My D was waitlisted after a November app/January interview as their class was filled!

Haha hey someone answered. Im planning on applying early to ACP, so hopefully that will work. Anyone here go there or have any advice about it. thanks
