Want to help with a prom dilemna?

Prom in my mind has always been the last big hoorah with all of my friends where people get ****-faced drunk and its one of the most memorable nights you will never remember. That very well could happen for me and I'm stoked. In order for that to happen, that means I have to ditch some of my friends for my other friends. If I want to have a random fun night with just a little bit of drinking but a lot less crazyness, I have to ditch that first group of friends for my second. Both groups are too immature to deal with each other and go to the same party (and I hate all of them for that).

I don't want to ditch either group of friends. I feel like it would be easier to ditch the wild-group, but that is what I had always pictured prom night to be like (and still do) and they are my friends too (my teammates, so we have that special bond) Then again, how can I blow off those non-wild people who are all extremely nice (though socially awkward)?

I don't want to hold myself back for a group of people I probably won't keep in touch with more than a few annual facebook comments but I don't want to look back 10 years from now and ask myself why I couldn't just stick to my loyalties. 10 years from now, going to the cool party and being popular won't matter, but I want to have those memories.

With Prom tickets going on sale in two weeks, dates, limos, and after -parties need to be coordinated now and I am lost!

wow thats complex....i honestly dont know what to say...
i guess go with the wilder if u wanna have fun of thier kind....depends really what kind of friends you have. =</p>

sorry..and good luck =)

Seems like you've already decided. Go for it. Have fun, but be safe.
